I've tried daughter Sarah and George and Ann and can't find them apart or together.

Was George born in Ashford, Kent ?

I can only find the George born Oxfordshire married to an Elizabeth.
 
Re Post#6 query for birth of Richard Appleyard - although Richard Appleyard born 1851 appears with the family in 1851/61/71 I cannot find a birth for him. There is a birth for Charles Appleyard Jun 1850 Tadcster 23 729 mmn Pullan. This birth fits with Richard who was 9 mths old when the 1851 Census was taken. It looks a though the family changed their mind re the name of the child after they had registered the birth.

I don't know yet when Fred and wife Mary Appleyard arrived in NSW. I also don't know yet if they were the only ones to arrive.
