Looking for details on Emma before 1862 and her parents, thanks.

Thanks emeltee.

I'm not sure. 1891, 1901 and 1911 all have Southsea.

I can't find a tree and I have nothing at all before the 1862 marriage.

Hampshire Genealogical Society have transcribed the baptism twice

Emma Spry Stevens 3 April 1836 Southsea St Paul parents Frederick and Sarah

Emma Spry Stevens 3 April 1836 Portsea St Mary parents Frederick and Sarah

Exactly the same for her sister Sarah Rawlings Stevens baptised 27 May 1832 except that the entry for Portsea has the note St Paul's Chapel so the Southsea Chapel may well be an offshoot of the Protsea Church hence the double entries.
