I'm done and don't think i will back in here. Damn shame because it was a really good forum before. It's lost it's charm of what it used to be like

@gibbo @solidrock2 - I'm sorry to hear you're feeling this way. I've just come across your post, and I want to let you know that we've set up a Suggestions and Feedback forum specifically for members to share concerns and ideas. I truly value your input and will do my best to address any suggestions you may have.
As for the adverts, I understand they can be frustrating. We've been adjusting them, but they’re currently set to Google’s auto-ads system, which helps us cover a fraction of the costs involved in running and maintaining the website/forum. Unfortunately, with the rise of social media platforms and sites like Reddit, forums have been pushed down in search rankings, and we've lost significant traffic. While we're working on improving this, without the support from ads, the expenses would fall entirely on us, which could ultimately lead to the forum closing down.
I know some people aren't fond of posts being shared on Facebook and other social platforms, but it’s a necessary step to keep driving traffic here. Once the forum is more self-sustaining, we’ll definitely look into reducing the number of ads and exploring other options. Sadly, we’re not at that stage yet.
