Hi Dave,
I am a new member, so unfamiliar with this forum, burt was directed to this page when doing INGRAM research. I have done extensive work on the Allards over the past 15 years and have compiled all the above pieces of information posted by others, plus much more , which reveal Emma Allard's complicated life. Could I ask what is your connection to Emma Allard? I am an Allard - Ingram descendant.
Kerry

Hi Kerry and welcome to the Forum.

I'm not a descendant. A family connected to Clifton in my large tree. As all my main lines are brick walls = no baptisms found to go back further, my tree is growing sideways.

Dave

Thanks Dave. I haven't researched James Loan, but I know he didn't marry Emma Allard.
I can give you information on many Allard/ Ingram facts. Emma was the youngest sister of Hannah Ingram (Allard). Emma had relationships with 5 partners which produced children, but only married Crampton and Packett. She died as Emma Packett. Her parents were Thomas Allard (Hallard) and Mary Ann Giles. Amelia Sophia Loan married her first cousin, John William Ingram.

Thanks.

Parents of Sophia/Amelia born abt 1870 ?

Parents of Amelia Sophia Loan/ Ingram.
James Loan, who I believe was born around 1840 in Northern Ireland &
Emma Allard born ~1845 at Lane Cove, Sydney. Not all the Allard children were baptised and, as the date is pre- civil registrations, there is no official record. On her father's death certificate in Aug 1871, Emma is listed as 25years old. She was born between Rachel, 1843 and William 1847, who were baptised.

Thanks.

Bap V1834860 19/1834 ALLARD HANNAH A - THOMAS - MARY - CQ= CofE Field of Mars, Marsfield, Ryde * Not found - Sequence jumps from 859 to 875.

Who is the witness Amelia Emma Ingram ?

Robert Charles is a brother.

Yes 1870 in index, but I was told by a relative the earlier date. Wondering if she was not registered until 1870 after the family came to Sydney from Tumut. What is your source for the date 24 April? The later date corresponds with her death age of 48, however.

In reference to earlier question
Robert Charles and Amelia Emma Ingram were younger siblings of John William, her husband.
