I can't find a tree with James.
 
I have a Pleasance Carman and some Wrights in Mileham in my tree.

I visited Mileham and the church of St. John the Baptist and have a photograph of a gravestone bearing the following inscription which might be of interest you:

John Beeston Wright
Son of Will and Frances Mary Wright,
d. Jan 2nd 1833 Aged 9
 
I have a lot of information on the Wrights and Carman's from Mileham. My William Carman was married to Susan Wright who died in childbirth. They already had a daughter called Pleasance and her father left Mileham with his family to work in the cotton mills in Bury, Lancashire.

They moved to the North East to work in the coal mines, but returned to Bury and subsequently Pleasance married and emigrated to New Bedford, USA with her brothers and families. William died in Bury after taking his youngest son to join his older siblings in New Bedford.
