Ruby Carrington PALMER nee CARTER

Can't be a half-sister with Eliza born 1850 and E S 1853 and known deaths of parents and other children born in NSW after 1853.

I've not looked at Thomas, William or Henry, apart from their birth reg.

I can't find the family in 1851 so on that basis arrival 1850 - 1851.

What have I missed ??

Somewhere I've made a mistake. Damn. I've been searching for Carter not Beck.

The Carter family arrived before the 1851 census.

Bap V18491764 35/1849 CARTER JOHN - SAMUEL EMMA

Ok, I can't find the Beck family in 1851 census.

No John Beck in Assisted to NSW.

No obit gives a clear idea of when the Beck family arrived.

No, that search took years. Only solved by paying for a death certificate that said 'no issue' !!

The Beck children were born in different parts of London/Middlesex.

Someone else might find them in 1851.

Yep they are not easy to find. All the obits I have found just say arrived at a young age. I cant find any passenger lists for them nor census records.

By me A.D. Faunce Officiating Minister

The historical record from January 1882 shows Rev. A. D. Faunce (frequently misspelled as "Fannce" due to old newspaper scanning errors) ...
